European Journal of Theology (EJT): Change of publisher

May 05, 2020   •   news journal

Dear members and friends of FEET,

AlphaGraphics, the publisher of our journal, the European Journal of Theology (EJT), has decided to stop printing it. The reason for their decision is not that the Journal is not viable, but that they want to focus on their core activity (printing) without investing in new software for administration. At the request of FEET, they are handing the publication of the Journal to Amsterdam University Press (AUP).

The decision by AlphaGraphics to stop publication will take effect from April 2020. Those of you who subscribe to EJT will still be receiving issue 29.1 (April 2020) from AlphaGraphics. The preparations for issue 29.2 (October 2020) are well under way. Among other things we have an article by professor Alan Millard and numerous book reviews.

It is regrettable that AlphaGraphics has already taken down the EJT website which also contained the information about FEET.

FEET is happy that AUP will be publishing EJT issue 29.2 (October 2020) and beyond. We are expecting a very fruitful cooperation with this professional publisher. AUP and we are depending on EJT subscribers to act in order to transfer their subscription. If you want to continue to receive EJT, or to subscribe for the first time, please contact us at FEET:

We will pass your personal data to AUP. You can also contact Amsterdam University Press at to subscribe directly with them.

Please pray for our work in this time of transition, that EJT will come through it stronger. If you enjoy the Journal, please consider winning a new subscriber for us. And why not write an article or book review?

Yours sincerely,
The Executive Committee of FEET
